A Day at Old Hall

Old Hall, East Bergholt, overlooks the Stour valley in south Suffolk. Each Friday a team of four farmworkers and one or two support workers join Ian (host and lead support worker) for a day's farming.

The farmworkers rely on the services of MFT volunteer car drivers, Mr. Pearl and Mr. Emeny, and also the Braintree Community car service to travel to the farm. Journeys take 30-40 minutes; with no direct bus or train services these volunteers provide a vital service.
